Skills for the Future - Employer Engagement Workshops

Tue 7th June, 2016 by Leicester & Leicestershire Enterprise Partnership

A programme of employer engagement workshops are being organised by York Consulting as part of the Leicester and Leicestershire Enterprise Partnership’s Skills for the Future Study.

The aim of these workshops is to seek the views of employers on how and where improvements can be made to the current skills supply system in order to understand future skills needs within Leicester and Leicestershire through to the year 2022 and beyond.

The response from employers in signing up to the workshops has so far been very encouraging. However, there are a limited number of places still available for both the growth sector and non-growth sector workshops being held at various locations across Leicestershire during the month of June.

Probably the biggest single issue for business sustainability and growth are the skills needed by employers both now and in the future. It is therefore critically important that the skills needed to deliver current and future investments across Leicester and Leicestershire are met by providers at all levels.

Now is the time to act to make sure businesses in the city and county have their say in the plans that are being developed. We would therefore encourage you to attend one of nine events that have been organised.

Please click on the link below to register for your preferred or nearest workshop.

These events are tremendously important for Leicester and Leicestershire and your input will make a real difference to business development. We therefore hope that you will find the time to join us.
